The MindStore-Story

In the 1980s, Jack Black was a social worker in the underprivileged East End of Glasgow. After seeing two colleagues destroy their health through the stress of work whilst only in their 40s, and then experiencing a similar collapse himself, he decided to discover how stress could be managed and personal development harnessed to allow people to fulfil their potential.

A significant finding in Jack's research was Roger W. Sperry's Nobel Prize-winning research that 'provided an insight into the inner world of the brain, which hitherto had been almost completely hidden'.

MindStore, established in 1990, was the culmination of his findings and represented a radical, innovative approach to personal development in the UK.

Jack based the MindStore philosophy on the need for people to have access to a simple set of mental tools and techniques. This offered a direct and practical framework that would increase an individual's sense of self-belief, creativity, problem solving, positive expectation and intuition.

The MindStore System is now used by over 100.000 individuals and more than one thousand companies all over the world.
